Innovation. It’s who we are and why we are here.
At the new School of Informatics and Computing, innovation starts with our very existence.
Our school merges two leading Indiana University schools: the School of Informatics and the School of Library and Information Science. Our rare combination of programs—including informatics, computer science, library science, and information science—makes our school one of the largest, broadest, and most accomplished of its kind.
Our extensive programs are united by a focus on information and technology. These rapidly evolving fields demand new ideas, new discoveries, new applications—the types of innovations our faculty develop and the kinds of complex problems our students learn to solve.
As the world explores the frontiers of the Information Age, we are leading the way. We are innovating. It’s what we do.
